Shelley was born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario and moved to the lovely town of Port Elgin in 2007. She became an Insurance Broker in 2006 in Niagara and started her career with Miller Insurance in 2008. In 2012 she decided to stay at home and raise her super awesome son and returned to work with Miller insurance again in 2018 as a Personal Line Account Manager. Since then, she has completed her CAIB Designation and 2 CIP courses. Currently she is working towards the remainder of her CIP Designation.

While she was a stay-at-home mom, she was on the Board of Directors for several years at the local Nursery School – Kids Street serving as the Registrar, Vice-President and then President. After nursery school she was always in classrooms reading with kids or coaching the local soccer team.

She’s a full-time mom to a sweet young 8-year old boy where they fulfill their time at their trailer in The Kawarthas; fishing, swimming and bon-fires.  In the off-season they are always out exploring the Bruce County trails by walking. hiking or biking.
